Part of our Gutoptim overview. Last checked October 19, 2026.
Gutoptim complaints could not be confirmed either way: BBB and Trustpilot results did not load for us, and FDA's adverse event database had zero reports naming Gutoptim on October 19, 2026.[7] What the vendor's own pages do show is where buyers are most likely to run into trouble.
Those points are refund postage, upsells after checkout and a choking warning on the label. Each is covered below with the source.
What do Gutoptim complaints and buyer reports say?
We found no verified set of Gutoptim complaints to summarize. The two biggest public complaint sources, BBB and Trustpilot, could not be read, so they stay NOT checked.[1][2] FDA's recall and adverse event searches returned no records naming the product.[7][8]
The vendor's own feedback claims cannot be checked either. Its price grid shows a star graphic "based on 13,643 reviews" with no source, and its FAQ says more than 147,600 customers have reported no notable side effects, again with no data.[4]
So the useful question is what could go wrong for you. The vendor's refund rules, checkout extras and label warnings answer most of it. For the seller background, see our guide on whether Gutoptim is legit.
Where does Gutoptim buyer feedback come from?
Buyer feedback on Gutoptim would normally come from complaint boards, review platforms and FDA databases. On October 19, 2026, only the FDA searches gave a usable answer, and that answer was no records.
| Source | What it can tell you | Limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Better Business Bureau | Filed complaints and whether the business replied | NOT checked: results load by script and no profile was visible[2] |
| Trustpilot | Buyer comments on delivery, refunds and results | NOT checked: the page returned an error and the archive copy was rate-limited[1] |
| FDA CAERS (openFDA) | Adverse event reports that name a product | No reports naming Gutoptim; an empty result does not prove nobody had a problem[7] |
| openFDA recalls | Recalls and enforcement records | No recall records for Gutoptim[8] |
| FDA warning letters and FTC actions | Regulatory action on claims or marketing | NOT checked |
| Vendor star graphic and customer count | Nothing you can verify | No source, no dates, no way to read the underlying feedback[4] |
What do complaints usually focus on?
For a product sold this way, complaints tend to land on refunds, unexpected charges, the product not matching the ad, and how the capsules feel to take. The table links each type to what the vendor's pages say, so you can check it before ordering.
| Complaint type | What it may indicate | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Refund smaller than expected or refused | Return postage paid by the buyer, bottles kept back, or a request after 60 days | Delivery date, the "Refund Request" email and return tracking[3] |
| Charged more than the package price | Upsells accepted at $29 a bottle, the subscribe box ticked, or $15.95 international shipping | Your order email and the BuyGoods order lookup[9][10] |
| Product not as advertised | The sales page never names psyllium husk, the first label ingredient | The label on the bottle you received[6] |
| Hard to swallow or stomach discomfort | A fiber capsule taken without enough liquid | The label's choking warning and full-glass rule[6] |
| Allergic reaction | Black walnut hull is a tree nut; the facility also handles milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanuts, fish and shellfish | The allergen lines on the label[6] |
| Slow delivery | US orders take 5 to 7 working days, international 10 to 15 | Tracking and the shipping page[11] |
See a doctor right away if you have any of these after a dose:
- Trouble swallowing or breathing, or a feeling that a capsule is stuck
- Chest pain or pressure
- Severe belly pain or swelling
- Hives, lip or throat swelling, or other signs of an allergic reaction
Can sales-page testimonials be trusted?
Treat Gutoptim sales-page testimonials as advertising, not evidence. The FTC's Endorsement Guides say endorsements must reflect honest experience and that paid or material connections must be disclosed. A sales page shows you the quotes the seller chose, with no way to check who wrote them or what results were typical.
The figures the vendor does give cannot be traced. The 13,643-review star graphic has no source, and the claim that 96% of customers order 6 bottles has no data behind it.[4] We do not quote or invent buyer stories on this site.
If you still want to try it, check the label and refund terms first, then use the vendor's checkout.
How do you judge a testimonial before believing it?
Judge a testimonial by whether you could check it. Run any Gutoptim praise or complaint you find through these five tests.
Can you trace the person?
A first name and a stock photo cannot be checked. A dated post on an independent platform at least has a history you can look at.
Does it name a verified purchase?
Feedback tied to an order is worth more than a quote on a sales page or a copycat site.
Does it match the label?
Praise for parasite removal does not fit a 1.5 g fiber blend with no single doses.[6] See our Gutoptim ingredients guide for what is inside.
Is money involved?
Affiliate pages, including this one, earn on sales. Look for a disclosure line.
Is it specific?
Dates, amounts and steps taken are more useful than "life-changing."
What refund problems should you check before ordering?
The refund problems to check are cost, timing and paperwork. The vendor promises to "refund every single cent," yet its refund page makes you pay to post every bottle back to Aurora, CO.[4][3]
- The window is 60 days from delivery, not from your first dose.
- Email support first with "Refund Request" in the subject line, then return all bottles, empty or not, with the packing slip.
- The refund is issued a few days after the parcel arrives and takes 5 to 10 days to post.
- The refund page also suggests using it for 3 months, which runs past the 60-day window.
Keep the packing slip from day one. Our Gutoptim price guide shows what a refund is worth after postage.
How we gathered this feedback
On October 19, 2026 we tried BBB and Trustpilot, ran openFDA searches for recalls and adverse events naming Gutoptim, and read the vendor's sales page, contact FAQ,[5] refund, shipping and label pages. FDA warning letters and FTC actions were not searched, so they are NOT checked. The full method is on our how we check products page.
Our take on the feedback
There is no verified complaint record for Gutoptim in either direction, so neither silence nor the vendor's star count tells you much. The vendor's own terms are the clearest guide: budget for return postage, decline upsells you did not plan for, leave the subscribe box unticked and take each dose with a full glass of liquid.
One bottle is $69, checked October 19, 2026.[10]

Frequently asked questions
Are there Gutoptim complaints on the BBB?
We could not confirm it. On October 19, 2026 the BBB search results loaded by script and no Gutoptim profile was visible, so BBB is NOT checked. Search bbb.org yourself and read any replies from the business before ordering.
Does Gutoptim have side effects?
FDA's adverse event database had no reports naming Gutoptim on October 19, 2026. The label warns of choking without a full glass of liquid, lists walnut as a tree nut allergen and rules out use under 18, while pregnant or nursing.
How do I get a Gutoptim refund?
Email support within 60 days of delivery with Refund Request in the subject, then mail all bottles, empty or not, with the packing slip to 19655 E 35th Dr #100, Aurora, CO 80011. You pay return postage; refunds post 5 to 10 days later.
Why was I charged more than $69 for Gutoptim?
Common reasons are upsells accepted after checkout at $29 a bottle, a ticked subscribe box, or $15.95 international shipping. Prices are shown before tax. Check your order email, then use the BuyGoods order lookup or email contact@gutoptim-product.com.
How do I contact Gutoptim customer service?
The vendor lists email only: contact@gutoptim-product.com. There is no phone number. Orders placed through BuyGoods can also be looked up on the BuyGoods order lookup page, which helps if a charge or delivery needs tracing.
